Those jackets of the group from Liverpool remind us of the lion tamer of the old circuses, of the Marching Bands, on those military jackets of the Hussars . . . and of course, Jimi Hendrix's jacket in the famous photograph Gered ManKowitz. Legend says that Jimi's jacket was bought in a second-hand shop in Portobello Road, Notting Hill, London.
